Anonymous proxy, also called an anonymous proxy server, allowing clients to access files, web pages, or other resources through a server that serves requests from the client through another remote server. For example, when clients access the web page through an anonymous proxy, the client talks to the proxy and the proxy talks to the web page, maintaining the privacy of clients, such as hides its IP address. Purposes such as proxy, or server, is to protect the privacy of clients of the services and from others who may be wild and checking client connections.

Also, through proxy chaining, some clients could potentially fall victim to a web page displaying a fake security measures, allowing all proxies within these chains to track client activity. Thus, only a trusted proxy Anonymous with a clear privacy policy can be used for security purposes.
